About the role

You will be joining our Fusion Invest / Sophis practice which is considered the leading consultancy for this software worldwide. Our services include both CTB & RTB initiatives across all our clients including Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) with cloud hosting, evergreening, and test automation.

We are looking for a Fusion Invest Front Office Business Analyst to join change projects at our clients ranging from implementations to upgrades.

Roles and Responsibilities

The consultant’s main roles and responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Eliciting and analysing business requirements
  • Close liaison with the client’s business representatives
  • Contributing “best practice” knowledge to functional designs
  • Documentation of functional specifications
  • Liaison with development teams or the Vendor
  • Ensuring quality of the deliverables
  • Test planning and test execution
  • Liaison with the support team for environment preparation, release and deployment.
Key Skills

For this role, the ideal candidate will have:

  • Expert knowledge of Fusion Invest / Sophis
  • Deep knowledge of Front Office functionality and modules such as:
    • Pricing
    • Asset classes in Front Office
    • Instrument setup and valuation
    • AUM, NAV, GAV, MKV (Portfolio columns and formulas)
    • Cash explanation (available, blocked, Coins in PTF, Detailed cash balance)
    • Order raising (OMS, Dynamic order builder, Rebalancing …)
    • Performance (PnL, attrib, contrib…)
    • FX exposure and Hedging
    • Future and Forex Rolls
    • Criteria and ranking views
    • Benchmarks
  • Knowledge of buy-side specifics
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English with ability to articulate complex issues
  • Organized, rigorous, motivated and ability to successfully multi-task
  • Good analytical ability, stress resistance and responsiveness
  • Autonomous and proactive
  • Team player, quick learner
  • Effective customer service skills and Client facing service experience required.
